Metal Stamping Jewelry - Must have tools and supplies
There are so many tools and options out there for metal stamping I thought I supply some suggestions to help you pick the best options:
Materials:
Copper sheet metal: 22 gauge or 20 gauge
Sterling silver stamping blanks
Sterling silver rectangle wire
Stamping tools:
This is a great starter alphabet kit
Metal design stamps: tiny moons, trees, flowers, graphic designs.
Metal alphabet and number stamps:
Basic typewriter stamps: lower case, or upper case or typerwriter numbers.
Another cute font: stargazer: alphabet stamps or number stamps
Thick and thin sharpie markers
Protective eye wear: Stoggles
Tumbling supplies:
Lortone Tumbler OR Impress Art Tumbler and supplies
Blue Dawn dish soap or burnishing compound
Strainer (to rinse out shot)
Finishing Tools:
Eurotool Flexshaft or Fordom Flex Shaft SR
Sanding Cartridges (all grits)
Silicone Polishing Wheels (all grits)
