Part of my newest TERRA Collection. These earrings are hand carved in wax and then cast into brass. The posts are sterling silver.
They are named after Sankir, a natural blue pigment found in the earth and used as the initial underpaint tone, which cover the faces and other parts of the body; One would leave the sankir exposed to create the shadow areas.
